Youth Taekwondo & Kickboxing

Class Times: Tue/Thur at 5:30pm

Youth TKD & Kickboxing – teaches both traditional Chang Hon style Taekwondo as well as American and International Kickboxing. These classes offer youth students ages 7-12 yrs old a chance to learn self-defense, a striking art as well as an option to compete in various styles of tournaments. From traditional martial arts tournaments, our students have won numerous XMA forms, weapons forms, traditional TKD forms and point sparring events in the state, region and nation. In semi-contact kickboxing events our youth students are given the chance to compete in kickboxing without the worry of knockouts, while our older teens and adults also have the option of full contact kickboxing and mma events to choose from.

Youth Brazilian Jiu Jitsu & Submission Grappling

Class Times: Tue/Fri at 4:30pm

Youth BJJ & Grappling – teaches both GI (uniformed) and NO GI (shorts and rash guards) styles. These classes offer youth students ages 7-12yrs old a chance to learn self-defense, a grappling art as well as an option to compete in various grappling formats. From BJJ competitions such as IBJJF and NAGA, our students have won numerous State and National Championships, our youth BJJ team placing 3rd in the US Nationals. In no gi submission competitions students have the ability to wrestle and use submissions that aren’t as commonly found in the gi. These classes are an excellent way for young students to build endurance while learning a valuable life skills.

Adult Muay Thai & Taekwondo

Class Times: Muay Thai on Tue & TKD on Thur at 6:30pm

Muay Thai is one of the most effect forms of kickboxing in the world. Used by many UFC Fighters to help fill the wholes of their striking to help achieve their fighting goals. These classes compliment our Adult TKD classes, both teaching devastating strikes that can be used for both Self-Defense as well as for competitive purposes. Tuesdays teach specificly Muay Thai, through pad work, clinching drills, trips and live sparring. Thursdays focuses on the balance of mind and body, teaching traditional TKD forms, self defense, as well as Fighting skill circuits. Our Adult students have gone on to compete in Traditional Martial Arts tournaments as well as many Semi-Contact and Full Contact Muay Thai and kickboxing events. Muay Thai is a staple and requirement for all students on the MMA Fight team.

Teen / Adult BJJ Gi on Mon at 6:30pm, Teen/Adult No Gi Submission grappling on Wed. at 6:30pm.

Open mat Tues & Thur. at 7:15pm

Competition BJJ / Open Mat on Fridays at 5:30pm

BJJ classes: Techniques are broken down for beginners so that they can learn fundamental moves each week. While advanced moves are highlighted with technical movements for higher ranks.

Both BJJ Gi and NO Gi classes utilizes grappling techniques and submissions that have made this Combat Sport the most popular in the world. Used by UFC Champions as well as small students learning how to overcome larger attackers. This program is the BEST for womens selfdefense teaching her leverage that can not only save her body from damage but potentially saving her life. This class is a requirement for students on the MMA Fight Team

Mixed Martial Arts

Class Times: Mondays at 8pm and Thursdays at 7:30pm. Some Sat/Sunday evenings.

MMA classes are ONLY for those who are taking both a striking art and the BJJ program. This class MIXES both striking and grappling into your individual fighting style. Helping YOU become the BEST fighter you can be. Not all students in the MMA class are interested in fighting in a live event, but ALL share the burden of preparing our team mates for battle in the cage/ring. We are MORE than just a fight team, we are a FAMILY! Helping each other, like IRON sharpens IRON, we grow together.
